A new release for Environment Online

30 May 2025 (Published: 24 June 2024)

IN THIS ARTICLE:

Environment Online has reached another significant milestone with the introduction of a new login option and key enhancements to the native vegetation application functionality and EPA Part IV applications.

Enhanced native vegetation functionality

New enhancements have been introduced for native vegetation clearing permit applications to streamline the way you can submit geospatial maps as part of the application process. Map functionality has been embedded allowing for customers to draw or upload a shape and have it verified in real-time.

For more information on the new enhancements, please use our reference guides:

Enhanced EPA Part IV functionality

It is now easier for EPA Part IV customers to submit geospatial shapes as part of the application process, with an enhanced three-stepper form now available with map functionality embedded to draw or upload your shape. The system will automatically validate your geospatial shapes in real-time.

New ‘Your Email’ login method

A new login method has been introduced to make it easier for individuals to access Environment Online. This login method means customers can create an account using their email and a password.

This login method will allow users to access limited services within the platform, however, for users wanting full access to all functionality, they will need to create an account using Digital Identity (via myID and WA Relationship Authorisation Manager) or a Microsoft Work Account.

To check which login is most suitable for you, please use our ‘Get Started Guide’.

Support

Anyone requiring assistance registering or logging on to the portal can access the Environment Online Support Team via eosupport@dwer.wa.gov.au or 1800 161 176 (8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday).
