New integrated payment solution for EIA proposals

24 March 2025 (Published: 24 March 2025)

IN THIS ARTICLE:

We have now introduced an integrated payment solution for Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) submitted through Environment Online.

As part of the improved process, upon completing your EIA application using Environment Online, you will now be prompted to pay for any required fees upon submission. To find out what costs may apply to your proposal, please refer to the summary of fees in the Implementing the Cost Recovery Regulations Policy.

Submitting an EIA via Environment Online

The preferred method for submitting information about your application is through Environment Online. If you do not have an Environment Online account, you can create an account by using our get started guide or registration resources.

Within your account’s dashboard you will be able to submit an enquiry related to a payment when you need assistance from our team.

If you submit information via another method, after we have received this, we will direct you to a ‘Make a Payment’ online page and you will be provided with a reference number to make the required payment.  You will have the option to use BPoint or EFT.

If you do not have an Environment Online account but have already submitted your application, you can register for an account and our team can link your application to that new account. For more information, please contact our Environment Online Support Team via eosupport@dwer.wa.gov.au or 1800 161 176 (8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday).
