Planning Advice referrals coming soon to Environment Online

The next release for Environment Online integrates Land Use Planning and Development Advice functionality onto the platform.

This new functionality is expected to be released on Monday, 19 May 2025. It will include handling Planning Advice requests on matters such as Development Application (including Significant Development and DAP referrals), Subdivision Application, Planning Schema and Scheme Amendment, Structure Plan, and Pastoral Lease Permit referrals, and other referrals, as well as general planning advice enquiries (relating to environment and water issues).

The new Planning Advice functionality will:

• Streamline and create a consistent referral process across Western Australia.
• Provide you with the ability to track and manage your planning advice referrals on the system with an interactive dashboard.
• Allow you to submit general questions and enquiries related to planning advice through the platform’s enquiry form.
