Representing myself

05 December 2025 (Published: 20 June 2024)

IN THIS ARTICLE:

Accessing Environment Online when you are representing yourself

This guide is for individuals managing their own environmental activities in Environment Online.

If you're acting on behalf of an organisation, government agency, or another individual, see Representing an entity.

This guide explains how to log in and set up your account using one of two options:

Digital Identity (myID)

  • Full access to all Environment Online services and activities
  • Uses Digital Identity credentials (e.g. myID) for secure authorisation and identity verification
  • Set up instructions:
    • Watch the myID login video
    • View the Representing myself guide

Your email

  • Secure login using email credentials and multi-factor authentication
  • Limited access for individual users (not representing an entity)
  • Set up instructions:
    • Watch the Your email video
    • View the Email login guide

Important note:
If you log in with Your email and are representing yourself (not an entity), you will have access to a limited set of Environment Online services (e.g. you can submit native vegetation clearing forms) but cannot interact with Environmental Impact Assessment applications managed by the Environmental Protection Authority.

As more services are added, additional functionality will become available for email login users.
