Industry Regulation functionality in Environment Online

11 November 2025 (Published: 15 September 2025)

IN THIS ARTICLE:

Environment Online is progressively rolling out Industry Regulation services, with full integration expected in early 2026. 

What you can do right now

Environment Online currently supports a wide range of regulatory tasks, including: 

  • applying for licences, works approvals and registrations (instruments)
  • submitting amendment, transfer and surrender applications 
  • submitting annual fee information for licences 
  • lodging compliance plans or reports relating to instruments
  • viewing, tracking and managing your instruments, applications and annual licensing fees from a dashboard.

  • Make sure your organisation is registered and relevant staff are authorised to manage instruments, so they have full access to the functionality.
