Log in using a Microsoft Work Account

29 April 2026 (Published: 28 April 2026)

IN THIS ARTICLE:

If you’re accessing Environment Online through your organisation, this page will help you understand how to log in using a Microsoft Work Account.

What this login method is for

Microsoft Work Accounts are used by organisations that manage access to Environment Online through their own IT systems (Microsoft Entra ID).

This login method is designed for people who are acting on behalf of an organisation.

Your organisation controls:

  • who can access Environment Online
  • what users can do by assigning access through administrator and user groups.

What you’ll need

To log in using a Microsoft Work Account, you must:

  • have a Microsoft Work Account provided by your organisation
  • have multi‑factor authentication (MFA) enabled (your organisation’s standard process)
  • have been added to the correct Environment Online administrator or user group by your organisation.

If you are unsure about your access, contact your organisation’s Service Administrator or IT team.

  1. Select Login with your Microsoft Work Account on the Environment Online login page.
  2. Enter your Microsoft Work Account email address and continue.
  3. Complete your organisation’s multi‑factor authentication process.
  4. Accept the Environment Online Terms of Use.

Your My Environment dashboard will appear once you are logged in.

If you cannot see the organisation you represent

If you can log in but do not see the organisation you expect, this usually means:

  • you have not been added to the correct Environment Online administrator or user group, or
  • the organisation has not completed its registration in Environment Online.

Contact your organisation’s Service Administrator or IT team for help.

Common issues

“This app requires your admin’s approval to: Sign in and read user profile.”

This usually means you have not yet been authorised to act for the organisation.

“Your organisation is not registered for the Environment Online portal.”
