Register an organisation in Environment Online

28 April 2026 (Published: 28 April 2026)

IN THIS ARTICLE:

If your organisation is new to Environment Online, this page will help you understand how to register for access to the services.

What registering an organisation lets you do

It enables you to:

  • access Environment Online services
  • nominate a Service Administrator
  • choose how your organisation will log in
  • manage who can act on behalf of the organisation
  • submit and manage environmental applications and other activities.

Why you need to register an organisation

Registering an organisation creates an entity profile in Environment Online.

This allows authorised people to:

  • submit applications
  • manage regulatory activities
  • act on behalf of the organisation.

Registration is completed once per organisation.

Before you start

Before registering an organisation, you must:

  • decide which login method the organisation will use
  • nominate at least one Service Administrator
  • complete the Authorisation form.

You will need to email the completed form to EO Support at eosupport@dwer.wa.gov.au.

EO Support will contact you once registration is complete.

Choose how your organisation will access Environment Online

Your organisation must choose one login method.

The choice affects:

  • how users log in
  • how access is managed
  • how authorisations are granted.

Option A – Microsoft Work Account (Entra ID)

Choose this option if your organisation manages user access through its own IT systems using Microsoft Entra ID.

What your organisation will need

  • Microsoft Entra ID P1.
  • A Global Administrator or Privileged Role Administrator.
  • A completed Authorisation form – Form 2 (Microsoft Work Account).

What happens next

  • Your IT administrator completes the Microsoft Work Account registration.
  • EO Support registers the organisation in Environment Online.
  • EO Support confirms when registration is complete.
  • Your IT team can then assign Service Administrators and users through Entra ID groups.

For detailed steps, go to Register an organisation using a Microsoft Work Account.

Option B – Digital Identity (myID) with WARAM

Choose this option if your organisation will manage access using Digital Identity (myID) and the WA Relationship Authorisation Manager (WARAM).

What your organisation will need

  • At least one person with a Digital Identity (myID) account.
  • A nominated Service Administrator.
  • A completed Authorisation form – Form 1 (Digital Identity).

What happens next

  • EO Support invites your Service Administrator through WARAM.
  • The Service Administrator completes their registration.
  • The organisation’s Environment Online profile is created.
  • The Service Administrator can authorise additional users through WARAM.

For detailed steps, go to Register an organisation using Digital Identity and WARAM.

Submit the authorisation form

  1. Download and complete the Authorisation form.
  2. Complete the section for your chosen login method only.
  3. Email the completed form to eosupport@dwer.wa.gov.au.

EO Support will contact you once the organisation has been registered.
