Register an organisation using Digital Identity (myID) and WARAM

29 April 2026 (Published: 28 April 2026)

IN THIS ARTICLE:

If your organisation is new to Environment Online, this page will help you understand how to register using Digital Identity (myID) and manage access for your organisation.

What this setup is for

This setup allows your organisation to:

  • register as an entity in Environment Online
  • nominate a Service Administrator
  • manage who can act on behalf of the organisation using the WA Relationship Authorisation Manager (WARAM).

This option is commonly used by organisations that do not manage access through their own IT systems.

Before you start

Before registering your organisation:

  • decide who will be the Service Administrator
  • ensure the Service Administrator has a Digital Identity (myID)
  • complete the Authorisation form (Form 1 - Digital Identity).

Step-by-step setup

Step 1 – Complete the Authorisation form

  1. Download the Authorisation form.
  2. Complete the relevant section for the Digital Identity option.
  3. Nominate your organisation’s Service Administrator.
  4. Ensure the form is signed by someone with authority to represent the organisation.

Step 2 – Send the form to EO Support

  • Email the completed form to EO Support at eosupport@dwer.wa.gov.au
  • EO Support will review and action the request.
  • EO Support will confirm via email when you are ready to proceed to step 3.

Step 3 – Service Administrator completes setup

The Service Administrator must:

  • register a new account in WARAM using their Digital Identity (myID)
  • accept the WARAM invitation to act for the organisation
  • log in to Environment Online using Sign up or log in with Digital ID.

Step 4 – Organisation is created in Environment Online

After the registration is complete:

  • The organisation will appear as an entity in the Service Administrator’s Environment Online dashboard.

Step 5 – Authorise additional users (optional)

The Service Administrator can now authorise other staff or consultants to act for the organisation.

This is done through the:

  • WARAM, by approving or assigning access
  • Environment Online dashboard, depending on the organisation’s configuration.
